Ebe Church Building Improvements - Update

UPDATE - 27/2/24

Late last year we announced that we had been awarded a grant from Bristol City Council to make significant improvements to the fabric of the building.  
 
A contractor has been chosen to install the new church hall celling.  They expect to start work on Monday, 3rd June and finish on Friday, 28th June. 
 
During this period the main hall will not be available for us to use.  We are actively seeking a temporary, alternative venue to use on the Sundays in June and will provide you with an update on these plans as soon as we can. 
 
We are hoping to appoint a contractor to replace the flat roof space in the next few weeks.  
 
The Trustees have also agreed to remove the baptistry at the front of the church hall, thereby enabling us to make some much needed additional space and to improve the layout of the main hall. In future, baptisms will take place using a portable baptistry which is more environmentally friendly being both cheaper to fill and heat.
