Pause & Pray

Father, Master Gardener, we yield not only to Your pruning, but also to the removing of anything in us, or anything that we are involved with, that is no longer alive. Help us to stop carrying dead branches around. Help us to submit to discomfort – the pain, even – of pruning and removal, and trust that You have a purpose in it all. Amen.
