Morgane is off to Bible School...
In September I am going to Tilsley College, a Bible school in Motherwell, Scotland for a year. Two years ago I gave my life to Christ (you can find my story here). Since I’ve become a Christian I have been reading and studying the Bible. My love to read the Bible fed my desire to serve God, and I came to a point where I was begging God to send me to Bible school and to find me worthy, a young woman and a new convert, to use me for His Kingdom.
Last November, the day after the Paris attack, I went heavy-hearted to a conference in Bristol about Missions in Europe. At that conference from GLO a French missionary shared a word he had received from God. That was: “Come and help” (Acts16:6). That was a shift in my walk with God as I realised it wasn’t me begging God to serve Him, but Him putting the desires in me, and asking me to pursue His calling. I applied for the Bible college, got offered a place that I accepted. I am doing a one year residential certificate that combines Biblical and theological studies with practical ministry experience.
God is so amazing! He knows what I need, and before I say anything, Ebe offered to help me. Ebe Church is providing part of the fee and helping me raise funding to provide for the rest. Therefore I am addressing my Church family, and I am telling you what God is up to in my life so if you feel called to help me you will be able to. I already have half of the fees paid for, I now need to raise £2,000.
I am looking forward to this experience that I think will be life-transforming!
